Feeling weak all the time, it can be due to these underlying medical conditions!!

Energy is needed to do the daily activities. We could get very weak or chronic fatigue if we work continuously without sleep for 7 days per week. After taking enough rest also, we can still feel weak and this could be due to reasons like poor diet, stress, untreated health issues or infections etc. Underlying medical conditions in us could also contribute to chronic fatigue.

Various underlying medical conditions that can lead to tired feeling all the time are

Diabetes:

One important reason for feeling weak all the time could be due to diabetes. Those persons with diabetes would have high blood sugar levels in them. The cells present in the body would get damaged due to diabetes and it can lead to fatigue, weakness etc. It is true that when a person complains of feeling tired all the time then diabetes is usually suspected by the doctors. This explains the important connection between blood sugar levels and energy levels.

Thyroid:

A person can feel very weak or exhausted if he or she has thyroid disorders like hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. It is usual to conduct certain thyroid related tests if a person complains of tiredness all the time.

Vitamin deficiency:

It is noteworthy that deficiency of vitamin D can result in weak bones and joints plus muscle fatigue etc. So, if you feel tired all the time, it is necessary to check vitamin D levels. It is possible to overcome this deficiency by consuming certain supplements or making dietary changes etc.

Anaemia:

Our persistent weakness can be due to anaemia also. It must be noted that anaemia in us could be due to iron deficiency or due to some blood related issues etc. Our body`s ability to carry oxygen to the cells would get reduced leading to fatigue weakness etc.

Sleep apnea:

Not many of us would associate sleep apnea to feeling weak all the time. Our brain could get deprived of oxygen supply due to excessive snoring. This can lead to daytime weakness. This sleep apnea could disrupt sound sleep and can cause persistent weakness.

Anxiety disorders:

This can also be a cause for feeling weak all the time. Our body`s natural response to stress is anxiety. Persons with anxiety disorders could have feelings of fear.

Chronic kidney disease or CKD:

High BP can result in chronic kidney disease or CKD. Those with CKD would show symptoms like chronic fatigue or weak feeling all the time etc.
